sound baths
Let the resonance of crystal singing bowls, ethereal chimes, deep vibrations from the gong or heart rhythmic sounds from the drum wash over you like a gentle wave, easing tension and quieting the mind.
For months, or maybe even years, you’ve carried the weight of stress, a fast-paced world, life’s demands or the energy of unprocessed emotions.
Your body may feel heavy, your mind restless, and a moment for yourself has been long over due.
We off you a space to take a simple pause, a moment in time where sound becomes your guide—helping you release, relax, realign, and return to yourself.
You will be immersed in vibrations that can help melt away tension, clear energetic blockages, relax your mind and body and reconnect you to yourself.

Our "fight or flight" response are a crucial survival mechanism needed today. Originally designed to help us outrun predators and hunt for food. It was all about preparing our bodies to react quickly in life-or-death situations—like running from a bear, tiger. lion OH MY. But today, that same instinct is often triggered by much less dangerous events, like responding to an email, dealing with a stressful meeting, or managing tight deadlines. While the fight-or-flight response is still important, it’s often overactivated in our modern world, leaving us feeling drained, anxious, and disconnected from not only ourselves but others around us.
At Sunwell Wellbeing, we believe that healing and growth extend beyond the individual. We believe our clients are change-makers—people who, through their own transformation, create a positive ripple effect in their relationships, careers, and communities. Science meets soul:
Breath, Sound and Meditation are practices rooted in ancient traditions. Sound was used not just for wellbeing or relaxation— but for ceremony, connection, and consciousness.
Civilizations from Egypt to Tibet used gongs, bowls, and harmonic frequencies to realign the body and spirit.
In ancient Greece, Pythagoras, philosopher and mathematician, pioneered the use of sound for wellbeing and developed the Pythagorean tuning system, the foundation of Western music theory.
Today, science and specifically neuroscience is finally catching up — showing us how sound shifts brainwaves, how Breathwork may calm the nervous system, and holistically how these practices may assist in wellbeing and relaxation.
Somewhere along the way, we forgot. As we move further and further away from our history – we forget and start to call it fiction or false.
This is your invitation to remember.
To return to your breath.
To feel the sound.
To meet yourself in stillness.
To reclaim your frequency.
FAQs
This is a frequently asked question section
1. What is a sound bath?
A sound bath is a meditative experience where you are immersed in soothing sounds and vibrations created by instruments like crystal singing bowls, gongs, chimes, and drums. These sounds can help calm the nervous system, promote relaxation, and enhance emotional and physical well-being.
2. How does a sound bath work?
During a sound bath, the frequencies produced by the instruments stimulate the body’s energy and help guide you into a state of deep relaxation. The sounds work on a cellular level to clear blockages, reduce stress, and promote healing.
3. What should I expect during a sound bath?
You will lie down comfortably with your eyes closed, allowing the sounds to wash over you. It’s a quiet, meditative experience, and you might feel deeply relaxed, energised, or even experience emotional release. There is no "right" way to experience it—each person’s experience is unique.
4. What are the benefits of a sound bath?
Sound baths can help reduce stress, ease anxiety, promote emotional healing, improve sleep, and enhance focus and clarity. They are also beneficial for balancing your energy and promoting an overall sense of well-being.
5. Do I need any prior experience or knowledge for a sound bath?
No, you don’t need any prior knowledge of sound healing, meditation, or spirituality. Just bring an open mind and a willingness to relax.
7. Can I fall asleep during a sound bath?
Yes! Many people find themselves deeply relaxed and may even fall asleep during the session. This is perfectly okay as your body is receiving the healing vibrations while you rest. If you do fall asleep and are making noises.. we may gently touch your feet to bring you back and as to not disturb others.

10. Is a sound bath the same as a meditation?
While sound baths can be meditative, they are not the same as a traditional meditation. In a sound bath, you are passively receiving the sounds and vibrations rather than actively focusing your mind. However, many people report a deeply meditative state during and after the session.
11. How often should I attend a sound bath?
It depends on your personal needs and preferences. Some people benefit from attending regularly to maintain balance and well-being, while others may attend as needed for relaxation or healing. There’s no right or wrong frequency—listen to your body and do what feels best.
12. Are sound baths safe for everyone?
The great debate! Some people will say YES and some people will say NO and sometimes our circumstances are dictated by our Insurance Companies and are out of our hands.
